A police officer’s suicide in Mont-Rouge forces detectives Luc Doiron and Manon Daigle to return to the small coastal town. 

Their stay is extended when they realize that it was actually a homicide. The murder of Patrick Tisdale devastates the community and further fuels existing tensions. 

Luc and Manon try to calm things down and wrap up the investigation quickly, as some villagers are convinced they’ve identified the culprit and are eager to take the law into their own hands.
