Welcome to Mont-Rouge, a splendid secluded coastal town in New Brunswick. As the tourist season comes to an end, the savage and inexplicable murder of businessman Tim Coffman disturbs this charming, unassuming village.

Local policewoman Manon Daigle is asked to assist Moncton homicide inspector Luc Doiron. Quickly, their contrasting personalities make the investigation challenging.
